CommentsI do wish I did a more dynamic thign than leaning on an invisible block. but I wasn't sure if she did alot of running around and such. Next time I shouldn't be afraid to ask huh? lol.
Definily you're right on the paper, I need to remember to draw right on the nice stuff if I think I may be getting pretty silly withe my coloring. And thanks for the oppourtunity and the crit! I think this was just as good.
but please don't be afraid to ask me something.. Im getting that alot now adays and im not sure why. yes, different paper.. GOOD! and your very welcome, it was my pleasure! Sometimes I tend to worry they I'll sound stupid or silly asking a question.
I dunno, I do it from time to time at school and with other requesters, it's like a bad habit. |
But I'll try and critique another picture in your gallery thats not related to me or my own character, hehe.
Now down to business.
you did a smash up job of makeing Mary Lake a interesting looking character. useing watercolors really helped, made the picture flow very well. The blue pops so hard, I love it. but that purple looks great.
A great contrast.
Her expression is alittle lack luster, like she's wondering why she's standing there for this dumb photo or something. like she had something better to do, pff.
I like the background, really wild. I love the bubble towards the top part. but what bothers me is what she's leaning agianst. it looks like just some white box. could have done something with that.
But besides that, This is a fantastic peice, and the watercolors are eloquent. But a peice of advice is get some water color friendly paper or bristol board sketch pad. They won't wrink so bad.
Agian you did a wonderful job
